Versa - IMSU

The Brief

Our clients came to us seeking a contemporary Kellyville home with a stronger architectural presence, generous shared spaces and enough separation for a growing family. They also wanted the flexibility to accommodate guests or extended family comfortably, without compromising the way the home worked day to day.

That balance between connection and privacy became central to the brief. A ground-floor guest bedroom with an adjoining bathroom would provide greater independence for visitors, while multiple living zones would allow different parts of the household to use the home simultaneously. Upstairs, the bedrooms were to feel removed from the activity below, with the master suite treated as a more private retreat.

The Design

Project: Versa establishes its street presence through a disciplined composition of pale brickwork, cream rendered piers, dark ribbed cladding and expansive glazing. The recessed central entry adds depth, while the vertical rhythm of the upper façade gives the home a confident contemporary character.

Inside, a separate front lounge sits apart from the main living zone, while the kitchen, dining and rear living spaces form the social heart of the home and connect directly to the alfresco. A generous island and walk-in pantry support the kitchen's central role. Upstairs, four bedrooms are arranged around a separate sitting area. The master suite is distinguished by its walk-in robe, ensuite, nominated 3.4-metre ceiling and fixed skylight, introducing greater volume and natural light.

Across both levels, Versa balances openness with separation, creating a home that feels generous while maintaining clear definition between shared and private spaces.
