After a competitive process, the Housing Industry Association (HIA) has nominated IMSU as a finalist in five different categories for its prestigious 2026 NSW Awards. The nominations further reinforce IMSU’s position as an innovative, industry-leading home builder in Sydney.

About the HIA

The HIA has been the peak representative body for Australia’s residential building industry for the past 80 years. It represents members from all states and territories, who are collectively responsible for over 80% of new homes and renovation works in Australia.

IMSU has been a proud HIA member since 2021.

The IMSU finalists of the 2026 NSW Awards

IMSU has been nominated as a finalist in 5 categories across the HIA NSW Awards.

Juno

Juno received one of the industry’s first triple nominations as a finalist for three separate categories.

      1. Display Home > $1 million: Recognising excellence in the design and construction of a luxury high-end display home.
      2. Bathroom in a Display Home > $30,000: Recognising excellence in the design and construction of a display home bathroom.
      3. Kitchen in a Display Home > $60,000: Recognising excellence in the design and construction of a display home kitchen.

Spanning two floors, Juno is inspired by relaxed Mediterranean design with smooth arches, soft curves, and free-flowing form. A spiralling Venetian plaster staircase snakes through the home’s heart, while a double-height void heightens the sense of spaciousness above the main living area. Skylights allow sunlight to flood the interiors, while large sliding glass doors open directly onto outdoor entertainment spaces.

Book a tour of Juno or see the build in person at 15 Christie Street, HomeWorld Oran Park.

Project Grove

An IMSU client build, Project Grove, became a finalist in the project home category, which recognises excellence in construction and design of a home based on a builder’s specified home design.

Nestled in the Lower Blue Mountains, Project Grove is a bespoke two-storey Glenbrook residence that combines natural materials with contemporary design.

On the ground floor, the layout promotes interconnectivity through a spacious open-plan living and dining area. Complete with a walk-in pantry and an adjacent scullery, the central kitchen flows seamlessly to an open-air dining space for alfresco meals.

Upstairs, a master suite with a walk-in wardrobe and double ensuite has direct balcony access. Opulent extras like wine storage, a mud room-style laundry, and a secondary living area enhance high-end lifestyles.
