Project Overview

Project: Grove is a bespoke two-storey residence in Glenbrook, combining contemporary form with natural material accents to create a timeless yet welcoming family home.

On the ground floor, the layout is designed for flexibility and connection. A dedicated guest suite and study sit privately at the front, while the heart of the home unfolds into a generous open-plan living and meals area. Anchored by a central kitchen with walk-in pantry and adjoining scullery, this space flows seamlessly to the alfresco, encouraging year-round indoor–outdoor living. A separate media room provides an additional retreat, balancing entertainment with quiet relaxation.

Upstairs, the master suite is a private sanctuary, complete with walk-in robe, double ensuite, and direct access to a balcony. Secondary bedrooms are supported by individual robes and ensuites, ensuring comfort and convenience for the entire household.

Thoughtful inclusions like the wine storage, mud room-style laundry, and dual living zones enhance daily routines, while the refined façade - defined by gabled rooflines, expansive glazing, and a striking stone chimney - delivers both character and sophistication.

"After decades in the building industry and having built many houses, this was the first time my wife and I set out to create a home for our own family. We had invested heavily with an architect, only to feel disappointed when the design didn’t suit our needs. Meeting Michael and the IMSU team changed everything.
